Established in 2005,our boutique is the creative brainchild of Lalie (Debapriya) and Audy( Aditi) driven by a shared passion for crafting timeless styles for both men and women. What started as a dream at Lalie’s residence has grown into a trusted name for bespoke and contemporary clothing.

ABOUT LALIE
Lalie (Debapriya Bose Ray), a passionate entrepreneur, is one of the driving forces behind SWATANTRA, a boutique for ladies’ and gents’ wear, established in 2005.Lalie conceived the idea of starting this boutique and partnered with Audy (Aditi Gupta) to bring her vision to life.
Though Lalie holds an M.Com degree and has pursued Company Secretaryship , she chose to follow her passion, which is now her profession. Alongside her academic achievements, she is also a diploma holder in music and dance from the prestigious institution Dakshinee. Her artistic talents have led her to perform in numerous shows across India and abroad, adding a unique dimension to her multifaceted personality and entrepreneurial spirit.
She also owns another boutique called CHHOTOGALPO, which exclusively designs clothes for children below 14years of age.
ABOUT AUDY
Audy (Aditi Gupta), a Bengali to the core was born in Kolkata,with music in her soul to the then Deputy Sheriff of Calcutta High Court and Admiralty Marshal of Calcutta and her mother, an erudite and cultural minded lady. Aditi graduated in Political Science from the University of Calcutta and completed her diploma in Rabindra Sangeet from the renowned institution, Dakshinee.Eventually she became a well known face as an artist (Rabindra Sangeet),in her country and abroad.
Aditi loves training her pupil, her form of art under the banner of' Krishti'. 19 years back Aditi collaborated with Debapriya(Lalie) to form Swatantra, a home of ethnic wear for Men and Women which has now become a brand. She is married to a media professional and a mother of a son.
